It was developed as final project for her Masters with Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, B.C.
Before becoming a teacher, Angela worked as an illustrator and designer for over 20 years; when she is creating materials for teaching, she looks at them through this lens. When working on her Online Learning and Teaching Diploma, the importance of teaching online privacy and safety to young students became apparent, and she decided to focus on this topic in her final Masters project. She hopes that this fun training course keeps growing and that it will help you teach your own students how to become safe and knowledgeable online citizens.
She lives in New Westminster, B.C., in a tiny, sunny loft overlooking the river, and enjoys listening to her husband playing saxophone.
